More than 13 years ago, we founded the start-up RegaWatt GmbH with Managing Director Klaus Röhrmoser. RegaWatt is dedicated to producing clean energy from natural waste wood. From 2010, the Kombi Power System, the heart of which is the counterflow gasifier, was developed and initially operated with hot air turbines. RegaWatt now has the expertise to process the synthesis gas and use it with a wide range of technologies: from the generation of high-temperature process heat and use in combined heat and power plants to green hydrogen production. These topics are urgently needed worldwide for decarbonization. RegaWatt is therefore expanding and requires larger office and workshop space, which we can no longer offer in our main engineering office building.
RegaWatt was bid a fitting and somewhat wistful farewell last Friday - from the building but not from our hearts!
We wish you continued success with innovative system concepts on the way to a low-emission energy future!

BGM with a system - proven methods and instruments
3. Workshop of the 5-part seminar series at Gammel Engineering
As part of our seminar series "Systematic occupational health management - proven methods and tools", the third workshop took place yesterday with great success. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Martin Simmel and Ms. Barbara Mayrhofer, this time everything revolved around the topic of psychological risk assessment - a central component of occupational health management (OHM).
After around one and a half years of construction, the "Hummelchen" short-term care facility run by Katholische Jugendfürsorge (KJF) Regensburg has opened its doors. Here, children and young people with severe disabilities will find a loving temporary home - and their families valuable relief.
Gammel Engineering was involved in this special project as a planning partner for heating, ventilation and sanitation and is delighted to have contributed to this place of well-being with its technical expertise.
Groundbreaking ceremony for the inclusive Franziskus children's home in Abensberg
After intensive preparations, the starting signal has now been given: The construction of the inclusive Franziskus children's home of the Catholic Youth Welfare (KJF) Regensburg on the grounds of the St. Franziskus vocational training center in Abensberg has officially begun with a ground-breaking ceremony. Gammel Engineering is proud to be the planning partner responsible for the technical building services - in particular the heating, ventilation and sanitary planning - and to contribute its expertise to the success of the 3.6 million euro construction project.
