2. Energy efficiency system at the Clinic Amberg

The engineering team at Gammel Engineering had already carried out all engineering services in 2010 in order to install a highly efficient combined heat and power unit for the clinic in Amberg. The first stage was a gas-engine combined heat and power system with an electrical output of 357 kW and a heat output of 529 kW as well as an absorption chiller unit with a cooling capacity of 320 kW. The Clinic was completely satisfied with the plant, the energy savings as well as the ecological effects. This enabled a clear decision for the second stage of the project. Due to the quality and commitment of our team, Clinic Amberg had once again decided to work together with Gammel Engineering. We are proud to have been awarded with the follow-up project - the trust placed in our company and our team - is our motivation!
