This year, we decided to try something new. Instead of distributing the proceeds directly at the beginning of the year, we have set up the Gammel Family Social Fund. The aim of this fund is to help people in need in our area quickly and unbureaucratically throughout the year.
Our initial budget: The auction proceeds of €4,200, which were increased to €10,000 by the company management.How it works: At the January staff meeting, we jointly decided on the framework conditions. The use of the budget is contributed by employees throughout the year and decided by the team. Transparency and openness are a matter of course for us - and are also at the heart of this project.
We are delighted to be starting 2025 with this social project. The aim is to make the Gammel Family Social Fund a permanent institution and to equip it accordingly. Yoga has been an integral part of our company routine for exactly one year now! Every Tuesday after work, around 8 to 12 employees meet for a yoga session with Susanne Ohneis. What originally began as a test phase has now become a fixed part of our health program - and many colleagues can no longer imagine their weekly schedule without it.
