Gillamoos 2025
When the fifth season begins in Abensberg, a state of emergency prevails - and as every year, we can't be missing!
Friday, 20.10.2023, we picked up our colleagues in Cham and set off for Prague by bus in a good mood after a snack. We checked into the Hotel ADRIA, right on Wenceslas Square, of course. After a walk through the old town with a city guide, we were able to enjoy the night-time magic of Prague from the water on a boat trip on the Vltava. The crew spoiled us with a very appetizing and sumptuous buffet
After everyone, without exception, had enjoyed Prague's nightlife to the full, we headed to Castle Hill on Saturday morning, still a little tired. The tour of the impressive Hradcany Hill with Prague Castle woke up all tired limbs and the ride on the historic streetcar through the old town with fizzy drinks and live music was great fun for all of us.
The next highlight was our lunch in the wonderful centrally located Art Nouveau restaurant of the Czech Republic Obecní dům - we really enjoyed an excellent menu with wines and beer in this extraordinary ambience. Then an individual stroll with plenty of opportunities for shopping before we set off on our return journey.Of course with a stopover in Domazlice near the border, a guided tour of the historic old town and a sumptuous multi-course dinner to fortify us for the separation from our friends in Cham. The bus journey to Abensberg went like sleep for most of us....
An unforgettable team trip with lots of great impressions of Prague, Taus and of course Cham! We used the time and the completely stress-free time together extensively for many private conversations and to get to know each other more personally - team building at its best! Many thanks to our generous, uncomplicated management, the organizers and everyone who contributed to this successful trip with their participation. Gladly again!

Sri Lanka Hilfe Abensberg e.V. is the project close to the heart of our long-time friend Hedlen Zirngibl. She has been working with incredible dedication for the people of Sri Lanka for many years. We continuously support this commitment with our social fund - this year we have provided €1,000 for this purpose.
Michael and Gudrun Gammel's brother-in-law, Martin Kundler from Neustadt an der Donau, has been a passionate hobby gardener for many years. His large garden with numerous trees and lots of vegetables is a real treasure trove of nature.
