Description
A holistic energy supply concept was developed and implemented by Gammel Engineering for the new building and the existing company buildings. The focus: a modern combined heat, power, cooling and power generation system (CHP) based on a biomethane-fired CHP. The aim was to combine maximum efficiency, process reliability and environmental friendliness - tailored to the requirements of precision-driven production.
The CHP unit supplies electricity, heat and - via an absorption chiller - cooling. Cooling is provided by a centrally installed chilled water network, which airconditions the production halls in summer - essential for the dimensional accuracy of high-precision parts. The buildings are also equipped with a ventilation system with heat recovery, which further reduces energy consumption.
🔧 Technology at a glance:
- Biomethane engine CHP - coupled operation for electricity, Heat and cooling
- Absorption chiller - uses waste heat for cooling in summer
- Central cold water network - supplies production halls for process stability
- Heat utilization in winter - heating for office and production areas
- Ventilation with heat recovery - provides fresh air and saves heating energy
- Utilization of electricity directly on site - maximum own electricity quota and grid independence
đź’ˇ Why this project is exemplary:
- We combine efficiency with precision - climatic production conditions become the basis for success
- The waste heat utilization is solved seasonally intelligently - heating & cooling from the same source
- Gammel Engineering - we plan industrial supply that sets ecological and economic standards
