Description
In 2008, we planned a state-of-the-art biomass cogeneration plant with ORC technology for Erdgas Schwaben (now "schwaben regenerativ") and integrated it into the existing site. The plant supplies the district hospital as well as the Marienschule and other public facilities with climate-friendly heat and electricity.
🔧 Key technical data:
- ORC CHP, realized in 2008: combines wood/woodchip fuel with organic Rankine steam expansion
- Electrical output approx. 400 kW, including electricity feed-in to the grid
- Hybrid energy concept, coupled with heat storage strategies for demand-oriented feed-in.
