The concept is consistent: Innovative, creative, yet down-to-earth and sustainable. Helmut Schwögler has developed a restaurant and catering concept in Bad Abbach that is known and loved far beyond the region. The "Junge Wilde" has turned his parents' country inn into a beacon of gastronomy with a great deal of hard work, courage and inventiveness.
For Helmut Schwögler, the pursuit of perfection, effectiveness and efficiency does not end in the kitchen and restaurant. His philosophy on the use of resources is also reflected in the energy supply for his company. The combined generation of electricity and heat with a small CHP unit is therefore an absolute must for him. Parallel to the integration of the Dachs CHP unit (electrical output 5.5 kW / thermal output 12.5 kW), the dishwasher was also converted to hot water operation. This means that the CHP plant also achieves many operating hours in summer. The gas boiler has not run since the CHP was commissioned.
Success belongs to the brave: The plans for the expansion to include overnight accommodation for "gourmet tourists" are well advanced. The next expansion stage at the Schwögler in Bad Abbach will start soon!
The Gammel Engineering team would like to thank the Schwögler family and restaurant team for their friendly and cooperative partnership.
