RegaWatt leaves common roof

More than 13 years ago, we founded the start-up RegaWatt GmbH with Managing Director Klaus Röhrmoser. RegaWatt is dedicated to producing clean energy from natural waste wood. From 2010, the Kombi Power System, the heart of which is the counterflow gasifier, was developed and initially operated with hot air turbines. RegaWatt now has the expertise to process the synthesis gas and use it with a wide range of technologies: from the generation of high-temperature process heat and use in combined heat and power plants to green hydrogen production. These topics are urgently needed worldwide for decarbonization. RegaWatt is therefore expanding and requires larger office and workshop space, which we can no longer offer in our main engineering office building.

RegaWatt was bid a fitting and somewhat wistful farewell last Friday - from the building but not from our hearts!

Topping-out ceremony for the new building housing a residential community for adults with disabilities in Rohr

The Catholic Youth Welfare Service (KJF) is building a shared living community in Rohr i. NB with four residential units for a total of 24 adults with disabilities. And not on the outskirts, but right in the heart of town. This is exactly what inclusion in action looks like.

CONNECTA Regensburg 2026

CONNECTA is Bavaria’s largest student-organized career fair and a place where the business community and the next generation of professionals can truly engage in dialogue. We were there again in 2026: On October 21 and 22, we showcased our company on the OTH Regensburg campus at the fair’s 30th edition.

Donation to the organization Platzhalter für Demokratie e.V.

Through the Gammel Family Social Fund, we aim to provide targeted assistance where support is urgently needed. The fund is made up of the proceeds from our internal Christmas party, where an auction is held among our employees every year. During our regular staff meetings, we then work together to gather suggestions for potential recipients—this way, we decide as a team where the donations will go.
