There are now numerous energy storage systems on the market - however, most of these do not function without interruption in the event of a power outage or cannot absorb self-generated CHP electricity (AC). With the iCube, energy storage and power electronics save energy costs every day instead of waiting for their emergency use without adding value.The innovation at Gammel Engineering is the combination of UPS and storage system, so that the costs for decentralized UPS are eliminated and the building is secured. Another new feature is that the solar system and CHP units can continue to run without interruption even in the event of a power failure and increase the battery backup time or even recharge the battery in the event of a surplus.
