Energy Transition. Here. Now. – This motto was clearly evident at yesterday’s state reception for the 3rd Bavarian Energy Days at Schleißheim Palace.
Dr. Stefanie Reil and Michael Simon Gammel were there on behalf of Gammel Engineering. The evening demonstrated once again how many dedicated people in Bavaria are working every day to advance the energy transition—in municipalities, companies, initiatives, and projects.
This is precisely where the strength of the Bavarian Energy Days lies: they highlight what is already taking shape in many places today. The energy transition is not an abstract topic of the future, but a reality in practice. It is planned, implemented, and supported collectively at the local level.
As a member of Team Energiewende Bayern, we are delighted to be part of this network.
The team brings people, projects, and ideas together, provides guidance, and encourages us to actively take the next steps.
The state reception was an evening full of encounters, good conversations, and new inspiration. It is precisely this kind of personal exchange that is important for turning goals into concrete actions.

Today we celebrated a special anniversary: Florian Prantl has been with Gammel Engineering for 20 years. Over these two decades, technologies have changed, projects have evolved, and teams have been reorganized.

In 2026, Gammel Engineering was once again ready to head to the Gillamoos! Together with our partners, we kicked off the “fifth season” in Abensberg on Friday, as is our tradition.
Michael and Gudrun Gammel rounded out the kickoff of the new yoga season with a light meal. With a particularly delicious meal featuring fish and cheese, we were able to wind down the evening in a cozy atmosphere.
