Follow-up 5: Commitment - not just professionally

So tell me, Mr. Gammel, what other topics are close to your heart?

For the Gammel family - and I naturally include our employees in this - social and voluntary commitment is very important. We like to take on responsibility in society. Years ago, my wife and I founded the Cabrini Haus circle of friends and support it in the long term. Up to 200 children and young people with disabilities are accommodated in the facility run by the Catholic Jugendfürsorge Regensburg. They are cared for, taught and prepared for a life with the greatest possible independence.

Everyone should be able to experience the feeling of a grateful, trusting smile from a disadvantaged Cabrini child! Many of the campaigns are also supported by my Lions Club Kelheim Holledau or by the C haine des Rotisseurs, the international association for friends of tableware and dining culture. I am also actively involved in representing the interests of companies in the region as IHK chairman for the district of Kelheim.

Yoga anniversary at Gammel Engineering!

Yoga has been an integral part of our company routine for exactly one year now! Every Tuesday after work, around 8 to 12 employees meet for a yoga session with Susanne Ohneis. What originally began as a test phase has now become a fixed part of our health program - and many colleagues can no longer imagine their weekly schedule without it.

Autumn is duck season - our joint duck dinner 2025

At this year's duck dinner at Landgasthof Röhrl in Pullach, we were once again treated to a delicious meal - crispy duck, served with red cabbage and dumplings.

CONNECTA in Regensburg is the largest company contact fair in Bavaria and has established itself as an important meeting point between business, social institutions and students. Every year, numerous companies looking for motivated young talent present themselves there - and we were proud to be one of them!
