Big EnergiePartner summer party of Naturenergie Hersbruck GmbH & Co. KG
In the past two years, Naturenergie Hersbruck has realized a lighthouse project for the combined generation of heat and electricity from forest chips: For the first time, a counterflow wood gasifier has succeeded in generating electricity via a hot air turbine in continuous operation.
To celebrate this sensational breakthrough and to thank all shareholders, business partners, companions and employees, Michael Gammel, Managing Director of Naturenergie Hersbruck, invited everyone to the big EnergiePartner summer party: "It was a rocky road to trouble-free continuous operation. The cohesion and extraordinary commitment of everyone involved was a key reason why we were able to achieve this together," he explained. In contrast to other combined heat and power systems, the plant can cope with residual wood from forestry and landscape conservation. "We can use the fuel from the farms of our shareholders and from the region, fresh from the forest," reports Michael Gammel.
Robert Friedrich's giant steam roller also manages with residual wood from the forest: The Managing Director of Friedrich Anlagenbau from Pegnitz demonstrated the vehicle from 1945 as a special treat. To general amusement, he "filled up" the steam roller at the wood chip bunker and drove around the area with the steaming and snorting colossus.
After around one and a half years of construction, the "Hummelchen" short-term care facility run by Katholische Jugendfürsorge (KJF) Regensburg has opened its doors. Here, children and young people with severe disabilities will find a loving temporary home - and their families valuable relief.
Gammel Engineering was involved in this special project as a planning partner for heating, ventilation and sanitation and is delighted to have contributed to this place of well-being with its technical expertise.

After intensive preparations, the starting signal has now been given: The construction of the inclusive Franziskus children's home of the Catholic Youth Welfare (KJF) Regensburg on the grounds of the St. Franziskus vocational training center in Abensberg has officially begun with a ground-breaking ceremony. Gammel Engineering is proud to be the planning partner responsible for the technical building services - in particular the heating, ventilation and sanitary planning - and to contribute its expertise to the success of the 3.6 million euro construction project.
