RegaWatt leaves common roof
Last Friday, 25.08.2023, RegaWatt GmbH invited us to a small farewell snack time in our beautiful garden. Reason enough: the former "subsidiary" was moving out of the Gammel Engineering headquarters in Abensberg.

Last Friday, 25.08.2023, RegaWatt GmbH invited us to a small farewell snack time in our beautiful garden. Reason enough: the former "subsidiary" was moving out of the Gammel Engineering headquarters in Abensberg.
In the 02/2023 issue, r.energy reports on the very positive operating experience of the brewery G. Schneider & Sohn GmbH, Kelheim, since the commissioning of the energy center and the biomass heating plant. There is a detailed report on the success factors of trust on the part of the Schneider brewery and the sound expertise of our engineers in individual, sustainable energy systems.
"Leadership without an interest in people is like swimming without water. You're quickly left high and dry." Our employees are like our family. We work "with" each other, we feel "with" them, we rejoice and suffer "with" them. And so it goes without saying that we also pay the necessary attention to the health of our employees. This year, we therefore once again held our Health Days at Gammel in Abensberg. The majority of employees were allowed to choose 2 topics in advance.
Our Managing Director and Head of Human Resources, Max Oblinger, took the opportunity to celebrate his 30th anniversary with the employees. And so on Friday lunchtime - as a cozy end to the week - there was pizza and drinks in the beautiful Gammel garden in glorious weather. We should do this every Friday, dear Max! Another team event at its best!
Since August 16, 1993, our Managing Director Max Oblinger has been an integral part of our engineering team. Max has played a key role in shaping the values in our company and consistently exemplifies them. Over the years, he has managed our engineering company with loyalty and commitment in good times and in lean times. The engineer "with heart and soul" is a role model and shines through his sound technical know-how, but also in personnel management and controlling. And so the Gammel Engineering family took the opportunity to celebrate "our Max" with champagne and pastries. In his tribute, Michael Gammel gave a rousing and emotional account of the highs and lows of the last 30 years. He repeatedly emphasized the necessity of our motto "Decide - Implement - Enforce", as energetic as Max Oblinger. The bonds that have grown over the years between the Gammel and Oblinger families and the Gammel Engineering team, both professionally and privately, were and are one of the key foundations for the company's successful development.
The playground at Cabrinihaus Offenstetten was beautifully designed and opened on 12.07.2023. The blessing was accompanied by music and the children's performance was touching. We are proud that Gammel Engineering, with the support of our employees, was able to provide significant financial support with the 2022 Christmas fundraising campaign. Other supporters are Raiffeisenbank with the Gewinnsparen campaign and, as so often, the Friends of Cabrini House. We would like to thank Mr. Peter Hübl for providing the photos, which so beautifully reflect the joy of the children and young people. The MZ newspaper reported in detail in its article.
In the current issue, molkerei industrie reports on operator experience in energy-saving milk and cheese production. Our team successfully advised several milk-processing industrial companies on the transformation and provided engineering support during implementation. Milchwerke Berchtesgadener Land Chiemgau e.G. is highlighted as a lighthouse project. The company has been supplied by its own new energy center with a gas turbine since 2016. Another energy efficiency highlight is the Goldsteig cheese dairies in Cham. There, the Gammel Engineering team developed the energy partnership concept with Naturenergie Cham, planned the entire power plant technology and also participated in the investment.
The renowned trade magazine EURO HEAT & POWER reports on our innovative wood energy concept at the private wheat beer brewery G. Schneider & Sohn in Kelheim. It was a real pleasure for us to be able to contribute our many years of knowledge and commitment to the design and implementation of the project. To now see how much interest our energy ideas are attracting not only makes us proud, but also shows that our team is on the right track. As we have been doing for 35 years now - always one asparagus tip ahead!
On Monday, our project development team, led by Dr. Stefanie Reil, visited one of our many flagship projects, Naturenergie Cham. The GE branch team from Cham, led by Thomas Zweier, took the tour of the biomass cogeneration plant. Impressive technology and 10 years of operating experience - an inspiring visit! During the dinner that followed, there was a lot of discussion about the energy of the future and a lot of laughter and celebration among friends. We are proud of the well-founded know-how and the practical implementation, but of course especially of the interpersonal solidarity that is lived in our Gammel Engineering family!
Mr. Brunner from the Regensburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce livened up our in-house Windows Word advanced training course with lots of interesting background information. On both Tuesday afternoons, Mr. Brunner managed with wonderful ease not only to bring all participants up to a common level of knowledge, but also to bring the respective topics to "the woman" in an entertaining way. The fact that Gudrun Gammel also surprised us with an ice cream refreshment once again shows how attentively and cordially the Gammel family treats each other.
On Saturday, 24.06.2023, our employee Keven Puntus married his dream girl Tamara. The civil ceremony took place in the afternoon in the sunshine at the Archaeological Museum in Kelheim. As a surprise for the beautiful bride and groom, colleagues and management stood in the wedding procession and offered gifts and congratulations. It was touching to see the joy in the eyes of the bride and groom and to be able to share the first few minutes of their new life together.
Our Marion Schuler has been part of the inventory since June 1, 1991. She has been through all the moves, every change, operational, technical... But the family milestones are also always closely linked in the memories of Gudrun and Michael Gammel with her hearty laugh, which can be heard throughout the office. With great gratitude for her commitment and loyalty and, of course, with our very best wishes, we sent Marion into her well-deserved retirement today over a small drink. To make the transition easier (for us too, of course...), dear Marion will hopefully remain part-time with the Gammel family for a long time to come, which we are of course very happy about!
