Description
For the community of Weisendorf, a modern biomass heating plant was built to supply a large residential area, the school center and the multi-purpose hall. The project impressively demonstrates how climate-friendly infrastructure can be implemented on a municipal scale.
🔧 Highlights of our solution:
- Heat generation by a biomass boiler with an annual requirement of 1.200 tons of wood chips and sawmill residue
- Secure supply for public and private buildings via a central local heating network
- COâ‚‚ savings of around 1.100 tons per year by substituting 420,000 liters of heating oil
đź’ˇ Why Weisendorf is a flagship project:
The project combines clear climate targets with regional fuel supply and creates sustainable energy independence for the municipality.
