Description
Since 2012, BioIN GmbH, a joint venture between Ingolstädter Kommunalbetriebe and Büchl Entsorgungswirtschaft GmbH, has been operating a biogas plant using the dry fermentation process at the Stammham site.
Gammel Engineering was commissioned to carry out a feasibility study to analyze the waste heat potential of the existing CHP - with the aim of efficiently returning unused energy to the cycle.
🔧 Our services:
- Investigation of thermal recovery from CHP exhaust gas
- Variant study on regenerative power generation via ORC, for fertilizer concentration and thickening of sediments
- evaluation of a PV emergency power solution with storage for critical consumers
💡 Result:
The study provided practical options for increasing the efficiency of the system, conserving resources and increasing security of supply.
Conclusion:
Closing loops intelligently - with sophisticated technology and a clear view of what is feasible.
Gammel Engineering - we turn waste heat into real added value.
