Description
The RegEnerg Heizwerk KKH Schrobenhausen GmbH & Co. KG operates a biomass heating plant in the special social area of Schrobenhausen. The plant supplies the Kreiskrankenhaus Schrobenhausen and adjacent facilities of the BRK, the Altenheim is to be connected in the long term
🔧 Key technical data:
- Power: 800 kW thermal via biomass boiler with buffer storage
- Peak load supply: via the hospital's heating system, including regenerative capability in an emergency
🌱 Sustainable impact:
- Supply secure, regional and ecological - modular operation with a long-term perspective
- Operating systems designed for high availability and redundancy in the healthcare environment
💡 Why this project is at bum level:
- Planned in a socially sensitive way: Realized in a special area, the plant contributes centrally to the heat supply of essential facilities.
- Efficient technology: Biomass as a regenerative base load carrier - heating oil is only needed at peak times.
- Strategically future-proof: The heating system is capable of feeding back into the grid - flexible and securely positioned.
