Description
For SMP Automotive Exterior GmbH, a state-of-the-art production site is being built in Schierling for the manufacture of complete exterior components - including bumpers and sill linings for the international automotive industry. With an investment volume of around EUR 100 million, the project sets new standards in energy efficiency, supply integration and production logistics.
As part of an integral planning process, a tailor-made supply system was implemented together with architects, plant structure planners and process developers, which provides all forms of energy as required - including systematic use of waste heat.
