About 25 km south of Passau, directly on the Danube, a unique environmental experience center on the subject of water has been created: the "Haus am Strom". In addition to its spectacular architecture - inspired by the streamline of a drop of water - the project also sets new standards in terms of building technology: energy efficiency and environmental education intertwine here in exemplary fashion.
Gammel Engineering was responsible for the overall energy concept and the planning of the technical building equipment - with the aim of reducing the building's energy requirements to a minimum while at the same time providing an inspiring visitor experience.
