Description
In Nuremberg, Bayernhaus Wohn- und Gewerbebau GmbH is building a future-oriented residential quarter in Neukirchpark in two construction phases: seven modern apartment buildings with a total of 92 residential units are being built - complemented by an integrated daycare center, which will enhance the quarter both functionally and socially.
Gammel Engineering was responsible for planning the technical building services for the project - with a particular focus on an energy-efficient, environmentally friendly heat supply that is suitable for everyday use. The entire site was connected to the existing communal district heating network - a clear contribution to the decarbonization of urban residential construction.
The apartments are heated via continuous underfloor heating - ideal for reducing the return temperature at the transfer station and thus optimally adapted to operation with district heating. The childcare center was also equipped with a controlled ventilation system with heat recovery to harmonize fresh air, comfort and energy efficiency.
