AUDI AG is building a driving and
test center for AUDI Sport on a total area of 47 ha
Test center for AUDI Sport. The total investment volume amounts to over
eUR 100 million. With the aim of developing a CO2-neutral site, a supply system was planned and built together with the plant structure planning of AUDI AG and the architects to meet this high requirement. To this end, the building services were planned for the highly prestigious entrance building and the complete functional areas for AUDI Sport, from the refueling area to the workshops and testing areas
The scope of the contract for Gammel Engineering was the planning of the complete supply technology: process heating and cooling at different temperature levels, fire extinguishing technology, compressed air, technical gases and electrical engineering (medium voltage and low voltage).
Gammel Engineering GmbH was also responsible for planning the energy center with 2.7 MW heat output, 5.4 MW cooling capacity and 5 MW electrical energy (20 kV).
