Description
We implemented a sophisticated technical building services concept for the new construction of 82 residential units, 6 commercial spaces and a versatile children's, teen and neighborhood meeting place in two construction phases. Despite complex framework conditions such as border development, an undeveloped rear plot and direct proximity to the S-Bahn line and the busy Wotanstraße, we developed solutions that combine efficiency, comfort and sustainability.
All buildings were constructed in accordance with EnEV 2009 / KfW 70. For the first time, a fan-assisted living space ventilation system in accordance with DIN 1946-6 (2009) was used. The connection to the urban district heating network ensures an environmentally friendly energy supply. The social club and the commercial units were fitted with central air conditioning systems, while the offices were equipped with central cold water cooling and passive cooling elements - for a pleasant indoor climate all year round.
