Description
In Haßfurt - the largest site of the three Haßberg clinics with 145 beds - we planned and implemented a state-of-the-art cogeneration plant for the clinic administration. The centerpiece is a natural gas-powered CHP unit with 140 kW electrical and 207 kW thermal, combined with a 145 kW absorption chiller, which converts heat into cold in a targeted manner.
We integrated storage solutions for heating and cooling into the hospital infrastructure, optimized capacity utilization and thus ensured year-round security of supply with this flexible energy center - energy-efficient, cost-conscious and with noticeable added value.
What we do: Energy on demand - electricity, heating and cooling reliably, intelligently controlled and available on demand. Gammel Engineering thinks holistically: sustainability, security of supply, robustness suitable for hospitals and economical operation combined in one system.
