At AUDI AG in Gaimersheim, we successfully planned and supported the expansion and technical optimization of the MX 320 climatic chamber test bench. This test bench is central to service life and thermodynamic tests - from extreme cold conditions (down to -30 °C) to high-temperature testing (+60 °C) for battery and component simulations in electric and conventional vehicles.
We were responsible for the complete I&C concept development and integration - including high-precision control technology, temperature levels and humidity regulation. The result is a test chamber that:
- reproduces a wide range of climate scenarios with maximum accuracy,
- optimally simulates charging and load profiles for batteries and components,
- enables top-level thermal management tests.
Our work has made the test bench fit for the highest technical requirements - from endurance tests for high-voltage batteries to stable component tests under realistic environmental conditions.
