Description
We planned and supervised the construction of the new Imma-Mack secondary school in Eching for the Freising district administration - a pioneering educational center with 30 classrooms, specialized rooms for physics, chemistry, biology and IT as well as a spacious triple gymnasium. This project combines pedagogical flexibility, economical construction and innovative building technology - exactly what modern educational facilities need.
As dedicated engineers, we at Gammel Engineering have made a long-term commitment to cost-effectiveness: in addition to secure investment planning, our focus was on minimized operating costs and modular adaptability - so that the building is optimally prepared for future teaching formats.
Our contribution in detail:
- Energetic building concept: Planning efficient building envelope and technology to reduce heating and ventilation costs.
- Flexibility as standard: Creating an infrastructure that allows modular adaptations - e.g. for digitalization, learning clusters, etc. - to be made.
- Sustainable operating costs: Focus on durable, energy-efficient components that keep operating costs stable and low over decades.
- Exercise rooms for health promotion: Integration of sustainable technical systems in the triple gymnasium - e.g. sustainable ventilation and heating systems.
The Gammel promise: Our technical planning combines first-class cost-effectiveness with long-term flexibility - and delivers a building that not only works today, but also strengthens tomorrow. Education needs climate - including the building climate. We deliver both, with system and enthusiasm.
