Description
As a technical partner of the BMW Group, we planned the hydraulic integration of the new energy center West on the premises of plant 02.40 (Dingolfing vehicle plant). The aim was to noticeably increase the proportion of self-generated electricity - with highly efficient gas engines that were installed in the new building in the west.
Our task was to integrate the new energy center hydraulically into the existing heating network and energy infrastructure - taking precise account of the different temperature levels and pressure ratios of the heat generators. We defined the above-ground routes along the plant infrastructure and ensured robust, needs-based integration.
Our study - including hydraulic modeling, dimensioning of the components and routing - formed the technical basis for the contracting tender. Our plan provided the BMW Group and potential operators with a resilient concept that combines technical requirements, cost-effectiveness and long-term operational optimization.
