We have sustainably renovated and optimized the entire energy generation at the Neukölln Clinic of the Vivantes network - based on the concept study for the heating and steam supply created in 2016. Gammel Engineering GmbH was in charge of the technical equipment - from planning to commissioning.
Combined heat and power (CHP): Installation of a natural gas-powered CHP unit with 2 MWe of electrical output and corresponding heat supply - a real efficiency booster for the clinic and CSSD
Peak load boiler: Two hot water peak load boilers with 4 MW each were integrated in order to react quickly to peak demand.
Thermal oil technology for sterilization steam: The CSSD is now supplied by two natural gas-powered thermal oil boilers with 800 kW each - for reliably high flow temperatures of up to 180 °C.
