Description
The Prälat-Michael-Thaller-Schule will be built for 16 classes and four groups in the daycare area. The school will also have a sports hall as well as outdoor sports and leisure facilities.
The building will be supplied with heat via a local heating pipeline from the heating center of the neighbouring St. Franziskus vocational training center. The CO2-neutral wood chip heating system was also planned by Gammel Engineering. The sanitary facilities are designed to be handicapped accessible in many areas. After many years of waiting due to a lack of funding, the topping-out ceremony was celebrated in May 2006. The school went into operation in September 2007.
