When the fifth season begins in Abensberg, a state of emergency prevails - and as every year, we can't be missing!
On Tuesday, 25.06.2013, the hot commissioning of the turbine was started at Max Bögl. The Kombi Power System turbine reached an outstanding 25,000 revolutions per minute - and that during the first start-up. That is almost the nominal speed. All controls also function perfectly.
This marks another successful milestone. Today, the Gammel Engineering team is facing another exciting challenge at Max Bögl: the turbine will produce energy for the first time and feed the electricity into the grid.
The Kombi Power System has an electrical efficiency of up to 38 percent and an electricity coefficient (load-dependent) of up to 70 percent. Once all tests have been completed, the Kombi Power System will produce a constant 2000 kW.

Sri Lanka Hilfe Abensberg e.V. is the project close to the heart of our long-time friend Hedlen Zirngibl. She has been working with incredible dedication for the people of Sri Lanka for many years. We continuously support this commitment with our social fund - this year we have provided €1,000 for this purpose.
Michael and Gudrun Gammel's brother-in-law, Martin Kundler from Neustadt an der Donau, has been a passionate hobby gardener for many years. His large garden with numerous trees and lots of vegetables is a real treasure trove of nature.
