Gillamoos 2025
When the fifth season begins in Abensberg, a state of emergency prevails - and as every year, we can't be missing!
We experienced musical enjoyment at the highest level. The Renner Ensemble Regensburg, conducted by Dr. Hans Pritschet, presented choral songs from the 18th and 19th centuries. Afterwards, the large woodwind ensemble of the Bavarian Police Orchestra, conducted by General Music Director Prof. Johann Mösenbichler, played Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 in C major op. 21 and the European anthem in the Karajan version. Once again, it became clear how impressively music acts as a link between a free spirit and people united in peace and freedom.
Afterwards, we ended the evening with a meal together in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, livened up by the music.

Sri Lanka Hilfe Abensberg e.V. is the project close to the heart of our long-time friend Hedlen Zirngibl. She has been working with incredible dedication for the people of Sri Lanka for many years. We continuously support this commitment with our social fund - this year we have provided €1,000 for this purpose.
Michael and Gudrun Gammel's brother-in-law, Martin Kundler from Neustadt an der Donau, has been a passionate hobby gardener for many years. His large garden with numerous trees and lots of vegetables is a real treasure trove of nature.
