The manufacturing industry in the district of Kelheim appears to be gradually overcoming the slump at the end of last year and the beginning of this year, while the construction industry is still booming: This was reported by Dr. Alfred Brunnbauer from the IHK Oberpfalz/Kelheim after the first "working session" of the newly elected Chamber of Industry and Commerce committee for the district of Kelheim. With this in mind, the committee under its newly elected chairman, Abensberg engineer Michael Gammel, intends to focus in the near future on how to find sufficient and well-qualified specialists in the future. In 2026, Gammel Engineering was once again ready to head to the Gillamoos! Together with our partners, we kicked off the “fifth season” in Abensberg on Friday, as is our tradition.
Michael and Gudrun Gammel rounded out the kickoff of the new yoga season with a light meal. With a particularly delicious meal featuring fish and cheese, we were able to wind down the evening in a cozy atmosphere.

Michael Simon Gammel and Dr. Stefanie Reil were on hand representing Gammel Engineering. The evening demonstrated once again how many dedicated people in Bavaria are working every day to advance the energy transition—in municipalities, companies, initiatives, and projects.
