Sustainability is the name of the game at Goldsteig - in production and in the infrastructure! That's why the Goldsteig management gave its approval for the heat utilization concept from the nearby paper mill out of deep conviction. Process steam does not have to be generated in-house, but comes from the energy partner's biomass cogeneration plant. Following the almost 10-year energy partnership between the Goldsteig cheese dairy in Cham and the local Naturenergie (also a project of our team, of course), the equally ecological model was created in Stephansposching. This enables Goldsteig to achieve the lowest possible CO2 footprint for its products - environmentally friendly food production is a reality

Some people are simply indispensable in a company - Thomas "Tom" Winkler is one of them. He started with us around 25 years ago as a young engineer and grew from project manager to project manager to authorized signatory. With a great deal of passion and dedication, he has become a permanent fixture in our management team. But above all, Tom is a real team player who always has an open ear, is always willing to help and makes everyday life easier with his good humor.
