Today we had the pleasure of witnessing a very special celebration: the dedication of the Sandsbach Volunteer Fire Department’s flag.
Special congratulations go to our longtime colleague Anita, who has taken on the honorary role of flag mother with great passion and pride.

Many colleagues from our team were happy to attend and joined the festive parade alongside numerous local clubs.
It was impressive to see how many people in rural areas are deeply committed to their clubs and actively foster a sense of community.
The long parade featuring fire departments, clubs, festival queens, and flag bearers was a striking symbol of unity and tradition. In the festival tent, the flags were greeted with loud applause before the celebrations continued in high spirits well into the evening.
Events like these show just how vibrant community life is in our region.
They bring generations together, strengthen solidarity, and make our region so special.

In 2026, Gammel Engineering was once again ready to head to the Gillamoos! Together with our partners, we kicked off the “fifth season” in Abensberg on Friday, as is our tradition.
Michael and Gudrun Gammel rounded out the kickoff of the new yoga season with a light meal. With a particularly delicious meal featuring fish and cheese, we were able to wind down the evening in a cozy atmosphere.
