After a long period of planning, lots of ideas and countless hours, the time has finally come: our new homepage is live! We are looking forward to your feedback!
From our team's perspective, the past year was characterized by massively rising energy prices and uncertainty regarding future energy policy requirements. For 35 years, we have been able to contribute to the energy transition with creative, specific concepts and innovative building and energy technology systems for our clients from industry, commerce, the energy sector and operators of private and public properties. The global climate problems will be even more of a driver for our commitment in the future.
Our customers have been well advised to take precautions and withkeep their energy costs under control
The coalition agreement sets big targets: 80 percent renewables by 2030 and priority expansion, 200 GW of solar, 200 GW of wind, early coal phase-out, new gas-fired power plants and faster approvals ... the coming years will be challenging and we have no time to lose. The finally more concrete guard rails will "boost" the climate transition and bring about huge investments in climate and energy efficiency.
We are convinced that natural gas is the emerging energy source and a guarantee for a smooth energy transition and security of supply. The proportion of green H2 and synthesis gas can be increased in the existing infrastructure - nationwide grids, seasonal storage facilities, CHP plants, combustion plants - in line with the expansion of the production of "renewable gas". Engine, turbine and industrial burner manufacturers are ahead of the curve in terms of developments and are already ensuring that their machines can largely use mixed gas containing up to 100 percent H2.
Now it's all about concrete specifications for implementing the new government program. Energy-intensive companies must be supported in upgrading their energy systems in a way that is as technology-neutral as possible, instead of not achieving any economic viability for sustainable investments due to massively subsidized energy prices. Outdated, inefficient energy systems in companies today and in the future will inevitably lead to exploding costs and facilitate the relocation of production. Modern, energy-saving energy structures and sustainable processes, on the other hand, secure company locations and jobs.
The development and expansion of "cold" and "hot" local and district heating networks is the basis for the use of modern, highly efficient energy systems and the utilization of previously wasted energy flows. Many decentralized small systems with poor utilization rates in reality and without storage and load management will not bring us any closer to achieving our climate targets. Centralized systems are the basis for linking sectors, have the performance dimension for the greatest possible economic efficiency, can always be kept up to date with the latest developments and can be professionally monitored and maintained. With concepts for district supply, the energy of the future is made possible: potentials are used flexibly, supply and demand are brought together, the latest technologies are used with the most renewable energy sources possible.
For everyone in the Gammel Engineering team, the consistent implementation of climate targets is the most meaningful professional task. We are passionate about the energy and environmental goals of our clients and about technological progress. With our daily commitment to holistic concept development and the planning of energy systems and building technology, we enjoy working on the greatest challenge facing our planet and helping to secure the prosperity of our society.

Rising energy and raw material prices can be counteracted by using sustainable energy technologies and thus reducing CO2 emissions. This not only significantly reduces cost explosions, but also reduces your own ecological footprint. Pioneers in the dairy industry are also focusing on this.
Some people are simply indispensable in a company - Thomas "Tom" Winkler is one of them. He started with us around 25 years ago as a young engineer and grew from project manager to project manager to authorized signatory. With a great deal of passion and dedication, he has become a permanent fixture in our management team. But above all, Tom is a real team player who always has an open ear, is always willing to help and makes everyday life easier with his good humor.
