The Abensberg-based company Gammel Engineering GmbH recently received the "Bavarian Energy Award 2014" from the Bavarian State Government. In the category "Plants, Process Technology and Product Development", the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs recognized the company's engineering achievements and pioneering work, which set new global standards for the first time with the "Naturenergie Hersbruck" combined heat and power plant.
