HLH reports on the new energy center at Milchwerke Berchtesgadener Land Chiemgau eG in Piding
"Milchwerke Berchtesgadener Land Chiemgau eG processes up to 900,000 liters of milk every day. The production of dairy products requires almost 40,000 tons of steam per year. The energy required for this was previously obtained from the public electricity grid and from gas boilers, which are now outdated. In order to achieve the planned increase in production in the most environmentally friendly and efficient way possible, the company invested in a new energy center with a gas turbine, a heat recovery boiler and two peak load steam boilers."
