Full load hours

The full load hours are a mathematically determined measure to describe the utilization of an electricity generation system. The value of the full load hours is calculated by dividing the annual amount of energy generated by the nominal output of the system. The full load hours describe the number of hours per year in which a system would have to run at nominal output (quasi full load) in order to provide the amount of energy actually generated per year.
