Electromobility

Electromobility describes the use of an electric motor as a drive instead of the conventional use of an internal combustion engine. While an internal combustion engine requires liquid or gaseous fuel, an electric motor is powered by electricity that is stored in batteries. By using renewable electricity to charge the batteries, exhaust and CO2 emissions in traffic are reduced to zero. The use of electric vehicles also makes a positive contribution to electricity storage and grid stabilization, as vehicles parked and connected for charging can be used as temporary storage in the grid
